Quitting Sugar: Day 11

I had a rough sleep last night—woke up at 4 AM and couldn’t get back to sleep. After voting this morning (it’s Presidential Election Day, 11/5), I went to the coffee shop as usual. If it weren’t for my sleepiness and the fact that I still had work to do, I probably wouldn’t have ordered any milk tea at all. But in a moment of slipping my mind, I meant to order a plain milk tea—no sugar, no tapioca—but I made the mistake of ordering it the way I used to—with 30% sugar and bubble tea.

One careless mistake, and it threw off my journey of quitting sugar. I had been feeling proud of my progress, so this slip-up was particularly frustrating. To make up for it, I’ll try to skip dinner tonight to balance out the extra calories. It’s a small sacrifice, but I want to regain control and stay committed to my goals.

  1. Hey Colin! 😅 I feel you! Sometimes it so hard to resist old habits, right? I always do the same thing with bubble tea! 🤦‍♀️ But one drink won’t ruin everything. You’re doing great with quitting sugar! Just get back on track tomorrow, okay? I believe in you! 💪💕 Let’s go for a walk later and chat about it!

  2. Good – I should certainly pronounce, impressed with your web site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs as well as related information ended up being truly simple to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or anything, web site theme . a tones way for your customer to communicate. Nice task..

  3. of course like your web site however you need to test the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very bothersome to tell the reality however I will certainly come back again.
